Byrd still can't punch and will be shocked how much faster his opponents are compared to the heavyweights he's been fighting.

Since I haven't seen him fight at that weight it would be called speculation. Actually I like Chris Byrd. On the other hand, I don't like you even a little bit.

If his sparring sessions are any indication of what he will bring to the table, he will have brought very little power down to 175. The best fight he can hope to fight will be to replicate Calzaghe's style of coming forward with lots of flurries, and Byrd's legs aren't young enough to do that.

Byrd's best punch is still the straight left to the body. That is the main weapon that he has. If that can be neutralized, so to can Byrd's power game.

Trust me on this, Shaun George will pull off this upset.

Byrd has always been an underrated body puncher.

wow. got the impression you liked george in this one. bryd ranked 24 and george 29. byrds first fight at lthvywt raises questions for some of the reasons you stated! seems a stand up bet to me.
                sorry no odds.

LOL! That is a Photoshop, and not a very good one. Let's just ignore the fact his head is a different shade than the rest of his body just for a second. When you drop weight your entire body looses weight as well, including your face. Compare the body to the face, it just does not match.

On a side note, I am interested to see how Byrd does at Lightheavy. I have always been a fan of his.
