Chagaev vs. Valuev on July 5

The WBA heavyweight title fight between Chagaev and Valuev has been rescheduled to July 5.

Chagaev's management says his eyesight is fine, there is no detached retina or vision problem. He has a viral respiratory infection and is expected to soon recover and begin training again.

I'm looking forward to seeing him fight. I haven't seen him fight at all. I'm gonna have to search youtube and see how he handled the Russian Giant..

You should watch him run through the third-tier Americans he fought, as well as against Sprott and Ruiz.

I thought he beat Valuev by about 9-3

I'm really really looking forward to this fight. Both are among my favorites! I think Valuev can win the rematch, and use his size and reach. But Chagaev still does have a chance of outboxing him again.

It didn't make sense that Chagaev could get past all the medicals with his eye sight problems, anyways, it should be an interesting fight.

It's shaping up to be a great month of July for heavyweight fights in Germany:

              5th: Chagaev vs. Valuev
              12th: Wlad vs. Thompson
              19th: Povetkin vs. TBA

Povetkin, Klitschko, Chagaev and Valuev, all some of my favorites.. It's a REALLY good month for me. I get to see 4 of my favorites in action within 2 weeks.

If Valueev should have chance this time his lacklustre footwork needs to improve big-time. I can't see it happen. Chageev's got his number IMO. But I'm looking forward to see it!
