I rate Carl Froch even though he can come across a bit badly, I wouldn't want to share a gym with him for example.

I think he'd give Kessler or Calzaghe a good fight at super middle!

Kessler would smash him!...hes not a bad little fighter...a bit like Beyer with some balls thrown in...Kess...KO middle rounds if they ever meet.

I think if Kessler and Froch ever fought it would be a lot closer than you think. I would go with a Kessler win but to compare Froch to Beyer is dangerous. Froch is twice the fighter Beyer ever was. He has world class power in both hands which Beyer never had; Froch is also a very underrated technician, he knows how to box I promise you.

He's only a baby in the game really so in that respect full props to him...he should have some tougher fights though before he jumps in with the big boys...someone like Andrade or Manfredo jnr at least to give himself a good hitout...I will definatley be watching him though...hes not all bad.
Needs to keep those hands up though...resting that jaw on his chest wont stop someone good breaking it lol...Kesslers one two maybe lol!!!!

By Jake Donovan - If it weren't for bad luck, Carl Froch wouldn't have any luck at all. Or so it seems as of late, as the undefeated super middleweight contender has encountered hesitation at every step amidst his climb up the divisional ladder.

Froch (22-0, 18KO) was supposed to headline Showtime's special edition of ShoBox against Dennis Inkin in his hometown of Nottingham, England this weekend (Saturday, tape-delayed 10:45PM ET/PT). The bout itself was a rescheduling of a match-up originally slated for March 29, but instead hits the scrap heap for the second time in as many tries after Inkin once again pulled up lame.

Not only has Inkin cost Froch time away from the ring (six months between fights), but also has now affected his status on the show, which has been downgraded from main event to possibly not even winding up on the telecast.

With Rubin Williams accepting the last-minute assignment over the weekend, the decision was made to elevate Froch's promotional stable mates Junior Witter (vs. Tim Bradley) and John Murray (vs. John Fewkes) to main go and co-feature, respectively, with the belief that Froch-Williams isn't quite Must See TV. I've had brief encounters with Froch and he's nothing like the man that comes across in the press. He does that for some exposure, others had a certain charm with their arrogance like Naz, which made him a fan favourite. Carl lacks that cheekiness to a point where i can see how people hate him.

He is a genuine bloke, a top man, that is a dedicated professional, keeps fit and healthy 365 days a year and he told me he doesn't drink. Which must be impossible as his parents own the local round my area.

Iv spoken to Carl at a couple of Witter fights, yes hes top bloke and takes time out to speak with average punters.

Plus he supports The Reds so he must be Hard!!!!
