I feel the difference is that PBF style of fighting looks better and it is clear to see that he is not getting hit with those bull**** flurries that Joe Cal and De la Hoya throw. Also PBF's punching accuracy is so high that when you take into account that he may not be throwing alot but he landing more than half the punches he throws while making his opponent land only about 20% there you have clear difference. Also B-HOP has never been liked by the establishment. So he more than likely he will always get the **** end of a close decision.

A fighter is scored on EFFECTIVE AGGRESSION not just aggression. That is where I think scoring in fights have taken a dive. Who gives a **** if a fighter is being aggressive but its not doing anything positive for him.

Giving a fighter points just for being aggressive even though its not doing anything is like giving a student points on a spelling test even though they spelled every damn word wrong. **** kind of **** is that!!!

With Spinks and PBF being close in size add to that Spinks not having any power I think we would seen PBF fight like he did at the lower weights. I think PBF would have been more in the pocket and aggressive with Spinks. PBF really only fights with a very low workrate against fighters that are much bigger than him.

In this fight, Oscar was clearly the busier fighter, while Floyd was the one landing the cleaner shots, and had a much lower workrate, such as Ishe and Bhop. In my eyes, Floyd won pretty convincingly, but my question is, why do guys like Hopkins get criticized for thier lack of workrate, even though he landed the much cleaner, more meaningfull punches against Joe, yet they claim that Floyd put on a "clinic" against Oscar, even though his workrate was comparible to that of Hopkin's and Ishe's in thier most recent fights? Also i have to note that Oscar landed a few clean hard shots on Floyd, while Julio, and Calzaghe hardly landed anything signifigant on thier opponents. This is not a hate/bait thread, its an honest question. You're feedback is greatly appreciated.
Calzaghe did more against Popkins than DLH against Mayweather.

I agree with this in the main actually, PBF is more aggressive against guys his own size.

Honest question. Did Joe land one signifigant punch (not slap) against Bhop? If so, point it out, because honestly, i didnt see one. All i saw was slapping flurries coming from Joe.

I thought like you, but honestly he did. It's not one of those watch again fights but if you have time on your hands or have insomnia have another go at it. lol

Joe landed a few straight lefts and left hooks against Hops that did concern Hops. A lot more than I first fought.

Rounds 5,6,7 I think were good rounds for Joe.

Im sure he connected on Bhop, but i didnt see anything signifigant/damaging that landed from Joe. I guess i'll have to watch in again in slo-mo.

I thought Joe looked better second time round, but I'm a big Joe fan so I recognize my lack of objectivity. See what you think.

I'd be interested to see, almost everyone has an agenda concerning this fight.
