    What a ****ing joke!

He is shot to ****e, bet he wants to fight Arturo Gatti next and then they will be gunning for Willie Pep!

Fight someone with a pulse for god sake. The only guy i have seen really fight Khan was Limond and he almost knocked him out.

    **** Warren.

    That is all

Yea Gomez looked great for a while against Johannson, it wont be a walk in the park, a good tune up for Rees in September and then hopefully a world title fight.

Its definately a fight Amir will win, I cant see him doing an Alex Arthur at this point in his career!

I think it's a good idea to take a softer fight right now to see how he does with his new trainer, if he doesn't feel like it's working, he has time to replace him before the Rees fight, if he likes their chemistry, then he can keep him.

Yeah at super-featherweight, not against a natural light-welterweight like Khan. Wank Warren should be ashamed of himself for trying his best to ruin another young British boxer.

Gomez is always good value but he got beat up badly by Johansson last year. Might make it interesting for a couple of rounds I guess.

Khan-Rees could be a corker though. Rees had no business being up at LWW really and could do something at lightweight.

Got tickets for this fight this should be a good test of Amir's chin, Gomez has some knock out punches, it has the possibility for an upset. but not by much.

Gomez did look dangerous against Johannsen in the first couple of rounds but that was at super-feather. Khan is much bigger than Johannsen (probably around 140-147lbs on fight night) and a lot more skillful than Johannsen.

The Gomez of a few years ago would have given Khan hell but moving up in weight and due to his inactivity I cannot see him having the stamina to trouble Khan. As I said it will be interesting to see if he carries his power up in weight. If he does then in the early rounds I think he will cause a few problems with his aggression and "take two to give one style".

I hope it will be a good fight and you are both right but I personally think it is about time Khan fought someone who weighs the same and carries a a good punch. As yet we are still to see that.

                Peace.

I really hope Khan splits from Warren, goes to the states and turns into a real star. Noone cares if he looses to great fighters. The best way is to fight all the big names when he is ready and defend titles against the best. Not being funny but Warren wants to turn him into a 'Eurobum' I think and just squeeze the cash cow, Gosh I hope Khan ditches him.

This is a very poor choice of opponent.

The last time that Gomez beat someone who had a winning record was 2004. He is years past his best and too small too fight a lightweight. He is 5'5, Khan is 5'10.

This is a backwards step, Khan is supposed to be top 10 but Gomez isn't top 100.

A total joke and Khan is crazy if he thinks that he can fight for a world title after only facing bums.
