As for the subject: The ref. taking a point away is a joke. Absolutely nothing illegal. And Ottke... well I've got to say that he is soooo elusive. Almost impossible to land a clean shot on. One of the most skilled defensive fighters of our time. And one of the most boring. Second only to Henry Maske.

the 1st time ive seen an ottke fight with this youtube clip, and i gotta say, i wouldnt have knocked the ref out if i was reid, of course i would be pissed but that would spur me on to completely take out my frustration on the opponent rather then the ref, and destroy ottke, but then again with a ref like that, if u knocked out ottke and he went to the hospital to recover, then the ref would wait for him to come back before saying he slipped and continue the round

Hopefully Ottke's need to pay the bills will force him to fight away from his fatherland. In a way, there is a little bit of justice in his situation - He needs cash but no one is interested in fighting him in Germany for the very high profile nature of his cheating (see my earlier posts on how high up the cheating went to ensure an East German remained a hero); if he wants cash then he'll have to grow a pair of bollocks and travel.

He'll have to look at that sham unbeaten record of his and see how many portions of bratwurst it will buy him....if he wants a top three fighter at LHW or SMW he will be beaten outside of Germany. The great thing is that he will not be in a position to dictate which judges or ref sits; he needs the cash more than the othr guy needs him, so any decent promoter can tell him to go **** himself. If he looses, he won't even be able to claim 'best German cheat' as that position is filled by two Schumachers - Michael and Harold
