He'll be promoted up to full champ once Calzaghe officially vacates. Why did Inkin withdraw from the Froch fight? Is he hurt? If not, that seems like the logical opponent looking at their rankings. I don't think Taylor is ready, Froch and Miranda are busy. I don't think Jean Pascal would take the fight... Allan Green? Sakio Bika? Hah.... I wonder if Chris Byrd could get down to 168. Wouldn't that be something?
Because Mundine doesn't have a fight at MW yet so we would know about it.

And because he doesn't have a fight at MW. Its not even certain hes dropping down.

Meaning the title isn't vacant especially by June 21.

This is a weird statement by Kesslers team.

Unless Mundine and Winky signed which would suprise me.

Right, but this doesn't need to be for the WBA at all. Whatever it is for, I think it is pretty clearly going to be for a vacant title. Mundine isn't going to fight him again.

Read the boxing scene article. It says for the WBA title and Kesslers management have confirmed this.

Good to see Kessler is getting back in the ring, but doubt it will be with one of the other top guys straight away.

Kessler was fighting a very good array of opponents at a steady rate before the Calzaghe loss, & after the layoff expect him to fight atleast one warmup fight before chasing down the big names.

Wouldn't put that much stock in whatever is coming from Palle apart from pretty solid dates which have been booked on TV, & I also wouldn't be taking too seriously much coming from Miranda's camp, who just seem to like running their mouths.

I have just spent a few hours speaking about it with some buddies.

              Its 2 Options.

Option 1: More Likely : Kessler fights the mandatory for the WBA LHW title

Option 2 : He fights Mundine for the SMW "regular title". This is unlikely because the fight simply wouldn't be in Denmark.

Some other facts point to option 1. Froch doesn't have a title. And Calzaghe may fight his next fight at SMW and not get stripped. Also even if he is stipped Froch won't be able to fight Kess until July (end). Bute is injured. Enough said right there.

Its option 1 and its at LHW.

              Garay comes to Denmark!

As for Mundine you guys need to stop bagging the guy...he hasint had a steller career but has beaten some good guys in there and competed well with Kessler as well...as much as I love Kessler let us not forget that Kessler beat Mundine by the Same margin as Calzaghe beat Kessler...so give the guy some props...and should Mundine happen to fight anyone "decent" again...you will all be surprised win or lose...the guys is great to watch...not like ****en Hopkins...now theres a bum!!

No we need to keep bagging Mundine out. Simply Clavero, Nievas, Soliman 3 thats not good enough. The guy has all the talent in the world, its time to show some heart.
