hahaha...no, but I have been watching his posts and they are VERY similar to another poster on here that posts alot...so I think that audiblone is an ALT.

actually the Gatti fight was more of a true coming out party for Mayweather and the start of his career as a mainstream boxer so to me it was entertaining to see him beat up on a guy who had the spotlight that Mayweather wanted and deserved. There was something on the line for Mayweather and he took it did he not and no I am not talking about Gatti's belt. How is that contradicting?

to see two high level guys go at it showing why and how they GOT to that elite status is entertaining because it shows two guys trying to implement their game plans, honed by years of being elite, onto another high level fighter such as Barrera Marquez.

entertaining. Two guys, competively matched, pitting themselves in battle. Two guys trying their hardest to best the other giving everything they can to make that happen. Two guys leaving everything in the ring. It's a mix of things to be honest but it has to have the right components of some of the above. Having a story line that compels you to watch the fight. Having something at stake that draws a crowd into the mix

ur right Hopkins Calzaghe was not very entertaining at all so while yes not all competitive fights are entertaining at the same time they both lacked that urgency I mentioned above to make us engaged in the battle. The storyline at best was ok. I mean you had Joe going up for the first time but to be honest the story has been done before.

and to be honest I don't find blowouts to entertaining because there is hardly any drama in blowouts. With Gatti there was drama there was a storyline there was an interest in what happens. Not so much for Corley, Brusseles et al. If this is any help considering my sig, I found Margarito Johnson not very entertaining. He blew out a guy he was supposed to big deal

Elite status has no impact on me determining if the fight was entertaing. Elite status makes me want to buy the fight, but that doesn't do nothing with what actually happened in the fight. It makes no sense to like Gatti/Floyd and not Corley/Floyd....
My point is that storylines have nothing to do with the actual fight. It sounds like to me, your saying if there is countdown to the fight on HBO then that automatically makes the fight exciting.

I find blowouts exciting if it is a well executed blowout, but I do like competitive fights better like u. With that said i can't agree with u that Floyd's fights haven't been exciting, afterall by your definition "Two guys trying their hardest to best the other giving everything they can to make that happen. Two guys leaving everything in the ring.".... that is what Floyd has done and his competition has done in all his fights except Baldomir fight
