i made this thread asking why some FLOYD fans don't like mexican fighters. I never ONCE mentioned anything having to do with BLACK fans at all, but some of the fans showed their true colors.

Elite status has no impact on me determining if the fight was entertaing. Elite status makes me want to buy the fight, but that doesn't do nothing with what actually happened in the fight. It makes no sense to like Gatti/Floyd and not Corley/Floyd....
My point is that storylines have nothing to do with the actual fight. It sounds like to me, your saying if there is countdown to the fight on HBO then that automatically makes the fight exciting.

I find blowouts exciting if it is a well executed blowout, but I do like competitive fights better like u. With that said i can't agree with u that Floyd's fights haven't been exciting, afterall by your definition "Two guys trying their hardest to best the other giving everything they can to make that happen. Two guys leaving everything in the ring.".... that is what Floyd has done and his competition has done in all his fights except Baldomir fight

sure it does. When you have to elite fighters the chances of you getting a good fight, fought at a high level, are better than say two scrubs wildly swinging on each other. Not to say that those types of fights do not have merit but there is a better chance of being more entertained from guys who have proven themselves to be elite than those who clearly aren't

again stop assuming. If you can find a post where I said Countdown show= entertainment find it.

and if you think guys like Nitro and Shotbay gave it their all in the ring against Floyd there really is nothing more to say other than we agree to disgree about Floyd's exciting fights
