to say that delahoya would be badly hurt if he will fight margarito, cotto or quintana is ridiculous. but i respect the opinion of the writer.

none of the three boxers mentioned will beat the aging delahoya.

Are u joking? none of the three fighters can beat oscar? Are you crazy? all three of them would kill oscar and really retire him. Did u see his face? againts lil forbes? do u not know that before forbes he lost 4 of his last 5? (to any real boxing fan he lost to felix sturm) Did you not see what Cotto did when fighting a fighter that didnt stand a chance? Now did u see what oscar did? 12 hard rounds and a beat up face. Oscar cant beat any of the top welters even paulie would have kicked his ass.

The De la Hoya I saw against Forbes will lose against Cotto, Margarito or Quintana.

De la Hoya fought a hand-picked weaker man, who couldn't do anything better than him, yet although he clearly won, in my opinion, he failed to impress. No knock down, again his patented ineffective flurries (which were even worse since most of the punches missed or were blocked), hell, weak Forbes touched his face too much.

Floyd Mayweather could have TKOd (by ref stoppage) that version of DLH.

No. Neither did Alfonso Gómez when he fought Cotto. But guess what? Cotto impressed because he put him down and won by doctor stoppage. DLH, with superior reach, strength, and punching power couldn't knock down weak Forbes or push him hard enough to force the referee to stop it.

That's a good point. Forbes was tailor made to make Oscar look good. Yes Oscar clearly won but he was fighting someone 2 weight classes smaller. He should of dominated the fight and possibly K.O. Forbes.

DLH didn't even train that hard for the Forbes fight but he looked ok.
