It's sad what Floyd needs to do to get attention...

Does it really matters? Really?
Whether people buy more boxing PPVs or not because of his appearances in more mainstream scenarios is of little substance. He's being recognized as the P4P champion of boxing, yet he doesn't "owns" the welterweight division and has only fought one of the top ten ranked welterweights of today.
You guys need to separate boxing as a business from boxing as a sport. Whether Mr. Mayweather's actions help boxing as a business really remains to be seen, but I can't see how more exposure can hurt the business, so I support his actions. Now, that's completely different from what he (and DLH) are doing to the sport, which is damaging the sport by not facing the top opposition and selling hyped up, marketing-wise Mega-Flops that make Mega-Bucks.Comment

They know they cant sell the rematch off of thier first fight alone, so therefore they are using the family fued in order to add drama to the fight. I can guarantee u that the 24/7 will focus more on the fued between the Mayweathers, rather than the fight itself.Comment

whatever they focus on, the fight will make money. That is what I believe ONE of the main motives for the fight, on BOTH sides. However, as the fight nears and the 24/7 come on, a lot of people who said that they weren't going to buy and/or watch they fight, they will...IMO.Comment

LMAO, you said this SAME argument before and you were owned so badly you left the thread. Floyd hasn't been on TV or interviewed in a while so why are people still talking about him? People try to berate him for trying to expand his notoriety but he isn't doing one thing right now AND THEY STILL are discussing him. You guys are like women who can't stop thinking about their ex boyfriends.
you're talking about that thread that ends with my post? who owned by the way? was it an objective poster or notorious floyd fan? let me ask you something skills, if you're in a thread and cotto fans are constantly debating you, would you consider that being owned? use your ****ing head. you're smarter than that babe.Comment

Of course it will make money. No where near what the first fight did, but a nice chunk of change nonetheless. I've said from the beginning that i will not contribute to this rematch, and i stand by my word. Hopefully everyone else does aswell, because all Floyd and Oscar are doing is trying to pimp the fans into shelling out more money for a meaningless rematch.whatever they focus on, the fight will make money.
