He threw combinations, popped his jab, he was bouncing on his toes much more than he has in the last few years and most importantly didn't fade down the stretch.

The thing I didn't like about him in this fight was the reintroduction of the shoulder roll defense and he didn't go to the body enough, apart from that, he fought a very good fight IMO.
i was a bit impressed with his performance

I also thought he fought very well. IMO he needed this fight to see where he's at physically and mentally. I think he feels well about the way he fought, but knows that there is plenty of room for improvement. Just like Mayweather Sr. said at the end of the fight to DLH, "There's a lot of time till September, you're good"

DLH easily won every round against a quick defensive boxer, hard to do better than that. I don't think he can beat Mayweather by decision, but he has a chance at knocking him out. The Cotto or Margarito fight would be much easier for DLH due to the differences in physical and style matchup, I'd predict DLH knocking either one out.

I was impressed by Oscar. Heres a guy who was once a middleweight champ who has come down to 150......and for a guy of 35 his combinations were superfast, his workrate was good and he didn't fade. Come to think of it, for a 35 year old guy he was very impressive!

I dont think he quite has the beating of Floyd but I see another good battle.

The fight may look a lot different on sopcast. I was watching in HD and Oscar looked pretty good in the ring.

Man I must have been watching a different fight because I thought oscar looked pretty solid. Since the fight was over I've seen a lot of posters bash oscar because he didn't obliterate forbes. It was a tune up to get his timing back and practice different skills. He needed the 12 rounds to get back in to the flow. If you're gonna judge the fight based on oscar's face then I feel sorry for you. Plus forbes wasn't lookin' too good either.
