oscar jus retire looked very bad last night

He looked like a old man last night and had alot of trouble with forbes also got hit alot in the process and was marked up more then forbes who was the lighter hitting man.
No way in hell he beats mayweather like that and hes not gettin any younger so he should jus retire.

I thought he looked better than I had seen him in years.

He threw combinations, popped his jab, he was bouncing on his toes much more than he has in the last few years and most importantly didn't fade down the stretch.

The thing I didn't like about him in this fight was the reintroduction of the shoulder roll defense and he didn't go to the body enough, apart from that, he fought a very good fight IMO.

Forbes is smaller, has very, very fast hands, and is very good defensively. Also has a great chin (don't think he's ever been down, has he?). I'd have been very surprised if Forbes hadn't put plenty of leather on Oscar. Most of the marks, though, were from inside roughness, only some of it was from actual punches.

Personally, I thought Oscar did pretty well. He didn't get gassed after 8 or 9 like he has in his past several fights, he kept pressure on methodically, and his work rate never dropped dramatically. He was throwing beautiful combos and finishing rounds nicely. I think he actually stands a decent chance against Mayweather this fall, if he shows up with the same conditioning and mentality. Remember, all he has to do is catch maweather with one good, flush shot to the chin and he might very well be able to close the show. Floyd's chin isn't anything spectacular (Corley rocked him with a short right hook, hurt him pretty bad), and if Oscar can catch him, I think he can stop him. However, Mayweather will probably "win" another close, controversial decision after another ugly fight if he doesn't get stopped, but I think Oscar will look better this time.

He knows this is his last year, and he should choose his final opponents more wisley.

He looked good to me. Forbes will never be as motivated as he was for that fight again, that was Forbes at his 100% best yet Oscar still nearly won a shut out.

No way mate, He looked better in both the Maryorga and Mayweather fight...He got hit too much last night IMHO.

I hope he just wasnt up for it like he would be against Mayweather! But You could see he was frustrated by how elusive forbes was and trust me Mayweather would be double elusive for the rematch.

As I said, I didn't like the shoulder roll defense. With Mayorga, he saw every shot coming because Mayorga wings his shots and he was able to pick them off easily.

He didn't use the shoulder roll with Mayweather.
