I like Witter and I can see why he is fed-up at not having gotten a fight with Hatton, but he seems to be really obsessed. 99% of what he says is about Hatton. He's a bit like Glenn Close in Fatal Attraction.

the IBO belt means **** all but neither does the WBC that witter claims is so prestigious. hatton is defending his linear title that he won by beating the champ kosta. and he has defended it more than once against the universally accepted number one contender. take a look at the wbc rankings and tell me the wbc belt is better than the ibo belt, ajose olegeusun or whatever his name is 6, castillo who cant even make weight in this division anymore is 2, bradley who has hardly even fought a 12 round fight before is 1. hatton is pretending lazcano is the best guy in the division, but is taking a tune up after his first loss before a malignaggi fight and mayweather rematch, neither of which are jokes.

people should also stop focusing on why ricky wont fight him. its nothing to do with personality, its because witter is a threat, but unlike the threats hatton will fight, he brings nothing financially to the table. he has no better chance of beating hatton than paulie, but paulie is a popular new yorker who attracts the us network.

Its easy for people to tell Witter to shut up but why? He wants the big fight with the number one guy in his division..Its also a fight he has been chasing for 8 years and counting when neither fight was a "PAYDAY"...so that payday excuse is plain ******ed, I think Witter should just concentrate on his fight in front of him but he would alway be in the shadows of Hatton NO matter what he does, He cant even get through an interview without Writers asking him about Hatton..

Totally agree, I dont really care who is the payday or Non-payday..Fanbase or Non fanbase..I just want to see the biggest fight at 140 happen..period.
