Honetly the fight I saw last night, yes Oscar did look good cus he was so dominant but he also looked like he could do more, I think he carried Forbes to test the waters and see if he can make 12 rounds at the weight.
I also think that if Floyd is thinking along the lines of some of you, he will be falling into Oscars trap. you dont fight one man the same way you do another and never look at a dissapointing fight to determan what happens in the next, look at Hopkins after he lost his second fight to Taylor, look what he was able to do with Tarver nobody saw that comming from Hopkins.
Look honestly I think the rematch is nearly the same as the first fight, but what I did like out of the Forbes fight was the contact DLH was able to make, you put that style in front of DLH in 99 or 2000, DLH doesnt catch Forbes when he is slipping and rolling like that in fact he misses as he did with Whitaker.

        Man,

        Oscar wanted knock Forbes out..

        That was his GOAL..

He's been fighting for almost 20 years..The days of "testing the waters" is long behind him..

Floyd is the best technical fighter today but even the best ain't perfect, Floyd is VERY vulnerable to Oscar's jab, so much so that Oscar can win the fight with that punch alone, De La Hoya jabs with his naturally stronger hand making his jabs stiff and effective, with the height over Floyd and decent speed to contend he can beat Floyd. the onlyquestion to me is who wants to see these 2 idiots go at it again over either one against Cotto?

truth is Oscar CAN beat Floyd but nobody wants to watch this garbage. if Floyd rematches Hatton then the next time I will partake in anything involving Floyd Mayweather Jr in or out of Boxing will be on the actual fight night against Cotto meaning I probably wont ever see him again. I'm sick of all the marketing schemes to build hype, eventually so much time will pass that the people who want it will lose interest and not give a **** no more and I think I just hit that point.

I didn't see anything from Oscar that I didn't expect. In fact I didn't see things that I DID expect from him.

The only reason he was more consistent with the jab is because Forbes didn't make him weary to throw it like Mayweather did.

Yeah Oscar looked pretty good last night actually.

But it doesn't change the fact that you saw how Forbes was able to potshot him and land clean at times. lol Floyd will do that all night once again.

However let's remember that Floyd is inactive.

The gap in months between Baldomir-DLH and Hatton-DLH II is not that significant.

Plus he's gotten in some quality sparring with the Big Show.

Oscar will most likely get picked apart badly this time around.

I can't shake the feeling that Mayweather held back last time.
He might just be a ***** too, but I doubt that.

Floyd was sparring with Amir Khan last month.
