De La Hoya: "I'm Going To Beat Mayweather"

Following his twelve-round decision win over Steve Forbes at the Home Depot Center in Carson, California, Oscar De La Hoya said the September rematch with Floyd Mayweather Jr. is personal. De La Hoya lost a close split-decision to Mayweather last May, but Oscar is now being trained by Floyd's father, Floyd Mayweather Sr, and he promises to win the rematch.

I thought DLH looked good against Forbes and did a few new things well but if he wants to beat Mayweather he'll have to do everything better than he did. I think it'll be a closer fight though.

Oscar's chances of beating Floyd Jr. is better than they was a year ago, but I still think Floyd Jr. is just too good for Oscar.

Oscar's chances evaporated the moment he mentioned a rematch. The way he fought will make him canon fodder.Floyd will knock him out becoz Floyd hits harder,he is faster and his defence is better.Floyd is taller as well, this time it will be the end of the road for Oscar

Oscar won the first fight in my opinion so hes already beaten Mayweather. He should retire now whle he has some pride and dignity.

Mayweather is going to win this rematch on September, UD.

Oscar doesn't give a **** if he lose the rematch with Floyd..

After he collects 30 million from the people's pocket, forget what I said yesterday.. The rematch is done with the runner and money is in my pocket now..

delahoya wasnt really hurting forbes to such an extent that mayweather will absolutely destroy delahoya now in a rematch, especially with DLH haveing to make the weight limit

This time there's a clause in the contract that says Mayweather must fight with his shoelaces tied together.
