From the poll so far, it looks like most people agree Floyd should not fight old De La Hoya again.
Should Mayweather fight De La Hoya again?

I didn't know that, that's interesting.
He could have been blowing some smoke up his ass too.
I guess it's a good way to see what hardcore fans think and how ****** we can be sometimes.Comment

Honestly after watching him fight Forbes yesterday and knowing that Mayweather will make adjustments. Oscar is going to get embarrased. Whether you like Oscar or not he's been a very positive force in boxing, I don't want to see him go out that way.
I realize that the fight will happen. I don't think it should though.Comment

I agree with this one, but I guess in Floyd's mind the money is just much to turn down. But if anything he should fight COTTO. Nobody gives a **** whether or not he fights Marg except for the Mexican butt pirates.
And I'll tell you why.... Because if and when he fights Marg, he's gonna beat him in a boring one sided affair, and then the douchebags will find a way to discredit him. COTTO is the better fighter, and that will earn Mayweather far more respect. HOWEVER, IF Marg fights and decisively beats Cotto, then that would change everything.Last edited by Derranged; 05-04-2008, 11:24 AM.Comment

PBF has been the p4p#1 for about three years now. He has won "Fighter of the Year" twice. Including last year. Ring magazine has had him on their P4P list for ten years.
Isn't kind of crazy that we are talking about him "earning respect"?
Are we the nutty ones? Or is the boxing media too generous to Floyd?Comment

Despite the respect Floyd has, there are many many doubters out there that need to be convinced.PBF has been the p4p#1 for about three years now. He has won "Fighter of the Year" twice. Including last year. Ring magazine has had him on their P4P list for ten years.
