I think it couldnt hurt to fight again...

oscar fought him closer than anyone else and he looks to have made some adjustments tonight (and will continue to make adjustments in the gym) and despite what seems to be the "popular" vote i think de la hoya v. mayweather II is definately warranted.

Delahoya calls the shots. Mayweather is just going for the ride/money.

Instead of Margarito and Cotto fighting each other, Floyd should agree to fight one of them.

Mayweather beat him clearly despite what the official scorecards read. This fight is about money at least for Floyd and DLH can't beat him so this fight makes no sence.Of course the most logical choice for Mayweather is a fight with Miguel Cotto. It is both a winnable fight and a loseable fight for Floyd. You can't blame Mayweather for wanting the money a DLH fight can generate but for his legacy he needs to fight the winner of Cotto-Margarito which imo will be Cotto.

It depends, if your Mayweather then yeah. HUGE payday with limited risk. Risk/Benefit here is great. For legacy or the fans, hmmm.......not so much. I would really prefer he fought a prime WW or Shane Mosley.

I doubt that statement. If so, he probably rolls his eyes regularly reading it.

mayweather-de la hoya 2 is just a money making exercise, the first fight wasnt great, neither will the second one be. they should both fight prime welters if they want to be taken seriously by true boxing fans
