yeah I agree Im sort of shocked by the comments about DLH. I think he can compete with both Cotto and Floyd.

i think dlh intentions were to fight the whole 12 rounds.. not to exactly win by KO..

dlh said he wanted to PRACTICE.. it was clearly a sparring session.. i love forbes man.. props to the doode..

oscar looked decent.. but look who he was against.. i thought forbes did well.. my .02

He looked the same DLH who has been given fits/beaten by slick fighters. And no, he's not a better promoter now compared to being a fighter!

His boxing career is nearing the finish line, and what a career it has been. His promotion business is kinda ****ty, if you ask me. Who does GBP have that they've groomed themselves and made a star out of? None. B-HOP, Mosley, MAB and DLH all have been boxing stars way before GBP was founded(easy money). But, DLH has alot of time to cultivate it and someday DLH may belong w/ the Arum's and King's

I dissagree with everything you just said...sorry.

I thought DLH looked impressive enough. He didn't gas and he was using his jab. DLH looked better boxing than he did trying to pressure.

It makes it alot more interesting because oscar didnt gas out and was throwing more jabs, and came in shape.

but I still aint paying for it lol

A lot of people on here are saying oscar looked terrible tonight and that mayweather/dlh II is gonna be even easier etc etc, but I thought oscar looked good. The jab was working great and he didn't seem to gas out.

How did DLH look good? Considering the opponent he was suppose to walk through Forbes. If you think he looked impressive then you give too much weight to the broadcasting crew.

If any other top WW fighter struggled that way tonight against Forbes.....Cotto, Margarito, Mosley, Williams, Quintana the broadcasting crew would've been very critical of there performance. Look what they did to Mayweather when he fought Baldomir.

Forbes was hand picked, fundamentaly sound but thats about it. Not really fast, not really slick, no real power, not really high work rate, not really strong even at 130lbs, less reach, shorter, physically weaker.

Who puts too much wieght on broadcasting? Why would I let them dictate the way I feel? Or even let them form an opinion for me?

He wasn't spectacular, but he wasn't that bad. Aside from a few exchanges were he was hit cleanly he won every round. He was active as well. I don't give a **** about the rematch and in no way am I using this to justify a rematch. From what I saw he did what he was supposed to do.

the oscar that lost to floyd would have done better, maybe a ko.
