Is Oscar's performance tonight making DLH/Mayweather II more interesting now?

Oscar looked good. No denying that. I just didnt see a VERY brutally dominating DLH. He didnt have to knock him out, but he needed to look ultimately superior or fighting like the legend that he is. Was his performance tonight impressive to make DLH/Mayweather a more attractive fight?

No, Oscar looked like what he is: a past his prime who is a better promoter now than fighter.

Yes. Oscar was impressive and proved that the rematch needs to happen.

He did look a lot better then he has recently, but the fight has no purpose other then to make money.

Maybe. But I'm going to address the asses that have given DLH flack. How was he so bad? I've already seen about 5-6 threads saying he was crap. Most of the damage on his face came in the earlier rounds. Because he was getting adjusted to Forbes style. In the second half of the fight he picked off most of Forbes offense. And the jab was nice.

And one thing to note, Oscar still has extremely good handspeed. I know people don't want to see the remtach, but don't say Oscar was crap that's untrue.

Yes it does. This will make alot more believers when Floyd says that he will knock Oscar out. Oscar didn't land ****....same old bodyshots and Forbes slipped most of the big punches.

With Floyd's footwork, it's the same fight.

Oscar/floyd is ****** and I see Floyd dominating Oscar even more now that Forbes was able to land uppercuts and hooks on Oscars head tonight.

I hate Oscar, he is no good no more and because he clearly beat forbes*like he was suppose to do* everyone is swetting his balls now.

Oscar looked a bit flabby right above the belt-line, and he still looked to tire out a bit in the later-middle rounds. He might benefit from some more roadwork in the following months. Or maybe he should talk to B-hop and Mackie Shilstone.

But he did work the jab more (although even more jabs wouldn't hurt), and the left hook is still there.

Beyond that, he didn't look too much better than was expected. But the fight with Floyd is inevitable, so hopefully it will be somewhat competitive (stamina stamina stamina, Oscar). The 24/7 should be good, what with all the Mayweathers and whatnot.

People are talking about biased commentators but wow the pbf nuthuggers are coming from all angles seems like the cotto fans are second in line with the hate ,he boxed he didnt run in and brawl if he fights like this against pbf it will be a much better fight the style he brought due to roach training was garbage, and boring this fight was boring lol thats coming mostly from pbf fans thats ridiculous.

i dont think people will buy this fight to see if mayweather will knock de la hoya out
unless mayweather promises to fight and ko DLH but i think he already did when hyping their last sparring session so its pointless now
