    Joe Calzaghe vs SRL....

Anybody who thinks this would be a blowout, I shall refer you to a quote from Sugar Ray himself. Ray was asked who would win, and answered along the lines of "I will go to my grave thinking I could have beaten Mike Tyson, so me and toadays SMW king, that's a tough fight to call."

If SRL can give Calzaghe his props, man up and do the same.

Joe gets enough props I think.

Not everyone is going to like him.

No. Sugar Ray by decision. SRL would throw at least 800 punches, dance around the ring, sort of what Hopkins tried to do but Leonard is much, much quicker and sharper.

I choose draw, because I hate these topics of what if these two boxers could have possibly fought each other.

Though I'm sure I may have made topics such as this one, so sue me I'm a hypocrite

            prime-prime??
Man Sugar Ray was a WW (weigh-in at fightday) and not even a big one. Are you serious?

He won a SMW title, hence why the question was raised.

no one can beat calzaghe currently so u have to use a time machine and bring back the greatest fighter of all time to try and see if he can win

I'm a Calzaghe fan same as you are, just using a quote from his autobiography to show that even SRL has dounbts over the outcome, yet all these American wankers think that just by saying "SRL KO1 Calslappy" it somehow becomes a carved in stone fact.

Ray Leonard's prime was 1979-1982. The 1987-1989 version is just a blown up 160 pounder.

Plus he was layed off from 1982-1987, so his skills were never the same was retired for those 5 years. I thought he looked slow in the Hagler fight compared to the early 80s.
