It's a shame. The first time I saw Gatti fight(against Patterson) was on a Hoya undercard. I'm sure they could have put on a decent undercard fight with minimal cost, oh well.

But they would also have to extend the broadcast by at least 40 minutes...right?

Guess your right, I'm sure HBO is doing what's best for them. Then again they can't be too concerned about ratings, on the EAST they are showing DIE Hard 2 after the fight. I'm sure that will be a big ratings boost after the fight.
