It is hard for even the most ardent detractor of Floyd, to say his work at 130 was nothing short of brilliant. It was really amazing, he beat and destroyed fighters witha a combination of speed, power and defensive genius.

His fights with castillo , in my opinion, changed his approach. He was more cautious and less eager to exchange with guys in the ways he did in 130. Of course, when matched with a way lesser opponnent, the Floyd of old reappears.

What I don't care for , is the Greatest of all time talk. No boxing fan , that has followed the sport can take that seriously. Floyd resume post 135 is not warranted of mention of Greatest of all time.

We all have favorites and sometimes it is hard to hear negativity thrown at your fighter. I aways roll wit Oscar, but i know his limitations and am not a defender of his to the grave. I could make the claim that Oscar is the greatest of all time cause he has won belts in 6 divisons and beat better opponents than Floyd, but that would be foolish and disrespectful to all those who are indeed worthy of being called the greatest of all time.

haha naw man, i wasnt. i know ima get **** for it. ive seen the fight 2 times. first time i had cotto up by a point without the KD. second time i had a draw without. its no doubt that cotto was doing the damage, but Paulie was able to land his shots and use the ring alot. he was hurting cotto most of the time, but was landing enough to score in my opinion.

i don't like oscar.but had he stayed a little more busy vs tito at the end of that fight, and gotten the decision vs mosely the second time and beaten hopkins who he was competitive till the body shot you could make that argument.he was this close of possibly being top 5 with out a doubt in my mind.

I usually agree with your posts but I can't on this one dude. Paulie got his shots off but outside of the few shots that did any damage to Cotto his face was a shooting range for Miguel.

Im not claiming that Oscar is all time top 10 or anything. That was the point of my statement. I follow Osacr and will support him, but I realize his shortcomings and failures. Im objective about the guy that i support, I don't seem to get the same feeling with SOME FLoyd fans.

don't get me wrong but ur better than that at observating fights..u have made some great thread about past fights but to say the fight was a draw is ridiculous if u are appreciating pauly's heart then good but cotto won that fight 8-4 at minimum.
