Should 8-0 fighters be matched against boxers with losing records?

I was just looking at upcoming fights and saw these

Marcel Meyerdiercks 7-0 vs Peter Balazs 0-18
John Gicharu 8-0 vs Musa Njue 4-13
Salvatore Erittu 8-0 vs Mihaly Kratki 5-12
Nadjib Mohammedi 12-0 vs Martial Bella Oleme 8-17
Hector Sanchez 12-0 vs Arthur Brambila 9-12
Luciano Abis 22-0 vs Louis Mimoune 23-34

In my opinion, if your first 6 or 7 fights are against poor opposition then fair enough, but there has to come a time when the guy you're fighting has a better record.

The worst of the above match ups is a guy who is 22-0 fighting someone with a losing record.

The 7-0 guy fighting the 0-18 is a bit of a mismatch too. Even Zelenoff picked a better opponent than that.

I don't think any of those match-ups are a good idea

i think its fine but it cant be that big a difference. I am ok with a kid whos 10-0 fighting a guy 10-14. Or a guy 5-0 fighting a guy 6-8. Even a guy who is 18-0 vs a veteran who is like 22-25. I think its fair enough, those opponents are veterans and know moves, they are meant to challenge young guys. And also as long as the opponents arent getting ko'd every loss then im fine with it. But i am not in favor of a fighter who is 15-0 fighting someone 1-25

If the losing record is something like 18-24 or something of that sort I am fine with it. They are still learning at that route and the fighter they are facing has experience.

First ten fights it's fine I think, and it's OK thereafter if they're facing a guy with enough wins. Look at a guy like Emmanuel Augustus, he has close to as many losses as wins and has had a losing record before against guys on a long streak. A lot of the time the guy with a losing record is aging but had a good run previously. Sometimes it's a guy who was poorly managed and ended up with a string of losses early on but has since put together a streak of wins.

Where it's an issue for me is when you have a guy with a string of ten stoppage losses in a row fighting a guy with a string of knockout wins. That's when it ceases to be about an actual contest and becomes more of a slaughter.

Depends whether the guy has any amatuer experience or not, like JCC jr, who has none.
