Cintron is a crappy fighter all around fraud, he did alright against Margarito when he kept him at the distance but at times it purposely looked like Cintron wanted to fight Margarito close. I hate Cintron now, making this prediction.

What is the big deal if a guy says what he thinks? This was the exact quote,
“Do I want Cotto to win?” Cintron told The Reading Eagle. “Yes, he’s from the same country that I’m from. But a fighter like Margarito, he took every shot that I threw at him. Cotto is going to have a hard time in there with him. I think Margarito will stop Cotto.” So everyone on this message board can have an opinion and that is fine but people say he can't? He only has been in the freakin ring with one of the fighters AND he clearly states he wants Cotto to win but he just feels otherwise. So basically people here say if you lose a fight you can't have an opinion and if you do have one you better lie about who you think is going to win just to support your countryman. Unreal. Could he be wrong? sure he could. Could he be right? sure he could. So grow up and support boxing in a positive way. It is a great sport with great fighters who put their life on the line when they step into the ring. The Cotto Vs. Margarito fight will be a classic. I always loved Diego Corrales as a fighter but did I think he would beat Floyd Maywheather when they fought? No i didn't and if someone asked me I would have said something very similiar to Cintron's remarks. I want him to win but I think he will have trouble and will probably get stopped. It is an OPINION. AND it was said exactly how any normal person would say it. Say who you want to win and then say who you think will win.

Very good post, gotta respect his oppinion even if you disagree with it. I've always found it most interesting when fighters who fought both fighters give an oppinion on who will win....i.e. Zab's oppinion on Cotto-PBF or RJJ oppinion on if JT or B-Hop had fought.

I just find the fighters perspective very interesting, guess thats why I like Scully's stories.

I'm with you there. Cintron doesn't throw a combination of punches with the amount of power Cotto throws with his hooks to the head and body. Of course he thinks Margarito is gonna win. Cintron has no heart and no defense and just took an ass beating from Margarito.

Cintron would have been much better off keeping his opinion to himself. He's going to further make himself more despised than he already is among the Puerto Rican community.

Personally I feel once Cotto lands those big bombs on Margarito's chin, Margarito will be in serious trouble. Margarito has a great chin but he can't afford to get touched often by Cotto. He may be able to walk through everyone else's punches but Cotto's power is nothing to disregard.
