You crazy, cintron is a great fighter but he's not en elite fighter. Cotto has much better power than kermit, just because cintron couldn't get the job done against marg, doesn't mean anything for cotto cuz cotto is at ah higher leven then kermit.Comment

When I first read this, I read it as a sour comment by Kermit. Ya know, since he was hoping to be the one to beat Marg. come back to PR and be huge for his victory. Obviously it didn't go as planned so now he seems like he should be putting down Cotto since Cotto now has the shot he had. But reality, I think Kermit is just being honest. In his video interviews, he seemed like an honest and knowledgeable fighter who knew what he was talking about. I want Cotto to win but I feel the fight is 50-50. Maybe even 75-25 Marg. I think Kermit definitely hits harder than Cotto shot for shot, and if his clean shots had no effect on Marg, I can't imagine Cotto's headshots doing much damage. It'll essentially come down to, can Cotto get close enough to Marg to land the body shots consistantly to wear him out down the stretch, and can Cotto eat all the leather Marg. is gonna unload on him while he tries to get close to him for 12 rds. Marg may be the toughest guy mentally in the welterweight division right now. He gets insulted if you don't hit him kind of attitude is scary.Comment

I'm not surprised. When fighters are asked to pick the outcome of a fight featuring a past opponent, most fighters tend to favor the fighters that beat them.Comment

Cintron is a crappy fighter all around fraud, he did alright against Margarito when he kept him at the distance but at times it purposely looked like Cintron wanted to fight Margarito close. I hate Cintron now, making this prediction.Comment

I'm obviously a Cotto fan but I'm not blind to the truth. Fact is nobody knows the outcome and everyone is going to lobby for there fighter as far as this message board goes. What would you rather have going into a fight with a fighter with a "granite chin" - one punch KO power which probably won't work and will drain you as you attempt it or destructive power to the body over the course of many rounds. Margarito isn't that much taller than Cotto where he won't be able to do his work to the body as usual. Yeah he'll take shots when coming in but Margarito after some damage to the body won't be so quick to trade. He isn't as fast as Cotto and his jab isn't on par with Cotto's either. I see Margo going down late in the fight and it will all go down hill from there for him.Comment

um I might be wrong in this but to say Kermit hits harder than Cotto is really hard to say. Cotto leaves his opponents busted up and bruised. Everyone was saying there was no way Cotto was going to knock out Gomez because he had fought at a higher weight class and hadn't been knocked out. Cotto straight up abused that dude and it showed all over his face. Same thing with all of Cotto's fights. Kermit opposition really can't be compared to Cotto's. Also its hard to say the dude (Margarito) that just handed your ass is going to lose against a fighter that you honestly think you can beat (Cotto). He clearly said I want my country man to win. I don't think he's hating he's giving his position on the fight. This is honestly going to be a pick'em fight and I can't wait to see it. I'm going for my country man no doubt but I have no delusions this is going to be a hard fought victory if he pulls it off. In fact no matter who wins this is going to be one of those fights that both fighters leave something in the ring. These type of fights only happen once every couple of years. No matter who wins this is going to be one of the most celebrated fights of the decade.Comment

good post look man..of course he is going to pick the guy who beat him twice because he knows how it is...but he does not know what cotto can do.kermit only had that strait right hand and he went to the sam angles to hit margarito.
