Blind fanboys at it again... You people refuse to look at the facts because you go by what your friends tell you and follow blindly like lemmings...
Fact: Margo: Flat footed, hardly any boxing skills, Solid chin, Massive power, outstanding workrate (when someone stands in front without moving).
Fact: Cotto: Excellent Boxing skillset, great footwork, massive power, average chin.
So, you got Margo standing tall with a great chin, trying to catch Cotto, while Cotto slaps him with jabs all night long and the occasional punch trades in the middle of the ring. Just facts dude. Cotto will outbox him all night long. He won't KO him, but it will be a lopsided boxing lesson and UD in the end for Cotto. Don't be surprised if by accumulation, Cotto KO's Margo tho.. In the end, he has to chase Cotto to KO him, and for that you need speed, which Margo doesn't have. He also CANNOT out box Cotto.
In the end, is all about pride dude, just accept it. I keep reading people insulting Puertorricans and such, but you know what, it's because they don't look at facts. We had 2 1/2 belts in WW till a few months ago (Sorry Kermit). Puerto Rico is located in the third place for most boxing world champions per country in the world and is the only country to have champions in all of the current divisions. Don't hate, just look at facts.. You guys are searching for the next great hope. Hate to tell you, but Margo ain't it. Just like it has been said time and again, when he is beaten....you will look for another badwagon to jump on. Next, you'll be saying that he needs to move up and face Chavez Jr, because he would destroy Cotto....lol Or maybe i'ts Omar Chavez who we have to fear after Margo? Get real please. Face facts and be a true fan, not a fanboy.

i am tempted to agree with cintron. cotto is hard-punching man but margarito is a puncher that willing to take three to get one good shot. margarito is a relentless puncher and never backs out. margarito's chin is proven to be tough.
i am not a fan of the two but i picked margarito to prevail.Comment

wtf???? what makes everyone so sure cotto will be backing up??? last i checked, he likes to come forward and pressure his opponents too!
also, ppl mistake margarito's relentlessness for "power" just b/c he ko'ed kermit cintron twice.....i've seen margarito's fights, and he throws a lot of punches, but i dont see anything in them that will "hurt" cotto in anyway. cotto is the harder puncher of the two. margarito has 26 ko's in 42 fights, cotto has 26 ko's in 32 fights, all victories. no power???
i was actually rooting for margarito b/c i felt he'd be the underdog, but the **** i've been reading on here is ridiculous. cotto is going to win this fight, b/c he can brawl, and if he has to- he's he better boxer, and cotto has the POWER advantage. i'll be honest, i thought cotto was overrated, but watching him over and over, and picking him to lose, i am now a believer.
the only welterweight that can beat this guy is floyd mayweather. that's real talk.Comment

i mean, you ppl have seriously got to be kidding me!!! i think margarito is a good fighter, and has a chance, but lets b real......he beat cintron twice( who IS overrated, and hasn't beaten any1 himself), and he was outboxed by paul williams in btw. the margarito fights, and now all of a sudden, he's going to ko miguel cotto, who really doesn't have any weaknesses??? margarito is a pressure fighter, no skills, period, that's his style. miguel cotto is a BETTER pressure fighter than margarito, plus he can actually BOX too!Comment
