Actually I believe that Jones has not yet visited McClellan, though he has donated, etc. He has said he does not want to see McClellan until his career is over for fear that the experience might cause him to never be able to box again.

i don't know, i thought i'd read somewhere that he did, but after he retired from boxing. if he did it's probably in his biography.

Man, the whole Benn- McClellan ordeal is just sad....

It is, and this is one reason why I can't stand to see fighters being hated on and called bums. I give respect to pretty much any fighter who steps in the ring because they put their lives on the line every time. Occasionally I criticize the actions of certain fighters, but ultimately all of them deserve respect for doing what they do.

u should look at my nigel benn training thread, it's somewhere in the training section, u might have to do a search. it's all about nige running in the canary islands and punching the pads, very inspirational stuff if u like the dark destroyer
