Roy Jones Jr was the Only fighter to Visit McClellan

After his brain damage...He also donated a percentage of his fight purse to Gerald...the interesting thing is Gerald beat him in the Amatuers.

They were also going to fight each other in the pros. Why do you think Jones never faced Benn.

Great vid man, very touching. That is so sad, every man who steps through the ropes faces that possibility in the ring. Poor Gerald man, that's such a horrible event, terrible. This also shows how great of a person Roy is.

Benn should have visited, for sure. That said, after the fight his career and sanity collapsed - the latter causing him to attempt suicide.

By not visiting McClellan he tried to mitigate his mental anguish, but without closure he only prolonged the torture (for years).

Such a pity that two titans of the sport were left only with death or torment.

As far as I know, the man in my avatar HAS visited Gerald. It was only today that I was reading about it. The article was from 23rd Feb 2007 in the English paper, The Guardian.
