Mayweather Corley was a decision win for Mayweather. Though it was probably the hardest punch that's been landed on Floyd and it really did wobble and stun him. Saying that though, if Corley landing a clean punch can hurt Mayweather what would happen if a hard puncher landed a clean one? Corley is not exactly what anyone would ever call a hard puncher.

It showed heart by Mayweather though coming back after lying on the ropes for a bit when he was slightly hurt to nearly put Corley away, but it also wasn't surprising that Mayweather got tagged as he knew that being aggressive against Corley wasn't going to get him stopped as Corley had no power to speak of. Lucky for him he didn't try that against someone with a punch. That was when Mayweather was at his best, fighting an aggressive counter punching style.

I think that fight made Mayweather do a bit of a Camacho, as when Rosario tagged him, in that he has never really fought taking any risks after that fight as he did that night. He had never been hurt and probably didn't think he could be, so when he was hurt against Corley of all people, it probably made him do a 180 and rethink his supposed new aggressive, exciting fight style that he had promised before and after.

As for the actual title: Leonard wins a solid UD by simply out-boxing Mayweather and not giving him the counter opportunities he would need to win the fight. It's very doubtful that Leonard would stop him, even though Leonard's power is underrated and he has the fighters instinct, he would win in a solid and good showing on points even though it could be possible to stop him. Leonard did have good power at WW and was a good finisher.

not a fair one for floyd. he started his career at 130. sugar couldn't even make 139 at the olympics.

ray has all of floyd's skills and speed (or close to it) and he's 2-3 inches taller and the naturally bigger and stronger man.

i think even a 140-lber like aaron pryor would be too big for floyd to be honest with you.

how about duran-mayweather? they're both natural lightweights.
