Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Ray Leonard @ 147

I've seen people on the forums talk back and forth about this specific fight.. What do the fans think?

****, I was gonna vote Leonard by UD.
Don't think Mayweather could handle his workrate and speed.

12 round fight, Leonard by decision. 15 round fight, I could see him possibly stopping Floyd. Not completely fair though, since Floyd was at his best at 130/135/

floyd's chin never been tested, i would be surprised if he's tagged cleanily one time and his chin truns out to be ****. with that said i can easily see sugarman stopping him

Leonard is too big for him at Welter , Floyd is at a disadvantage when matched with all the great Welters as he is not a true Welterweight and in the real world you just cant give weight away and win to fighters the class of prime Leonard and I dont care who you are ,,,,, now if its jnr welter thats a different story even though Floyd just went straight through that division I feel the best Floyd you will get right now is at jnr welter fighting jnr welters , he wouldl be dominate like with Hatton and his power to weight ratio goes up quite a bit at jnr welter from what it is at Welter with the bigger guys , weight is a silent defeater of fighters that the average fan doesnt really understand , they only see whats right in front of their face at face value .

It got tested pretty good by Corley , that punch would have dropped a lot of fighters , Floyd took it well although stunned he roared back stopping him ,, I think Floyds chin is pretty solid .

Is misleading, cause imo, if Floyd decated himself only to boxing, we'd know just how good he was by fighting the many contenders at welterweight, instead he wants to fight the best one and call it a day, when in boxing, its a fact that styles makes fights. And just cause fighter A. beat fighter B. doesn't mean fighter C. is going to beat fighter B.
