Ishe boxed great. Stayed calm. Good defense. Landed good power shots..

Julio just threw more.. but prety much hitting alot of gloves and arms or nothing at all..
I missed the fight but bet on Smith because I figured thats what he would do and thought he could outpoint Julio..... The judges saw it different from what I read it was Julios workrate that won it.

i thought that he did better that what was scored, i didn't think julio did anything significant, i thought he looked pretty basic and easy to predict. the only thing about smith is that he's a little too economical with his punches, and being up against a guy that has a lot of attention about him, being a sniper doesn't get the proper respect it should, sad to say.

he should've taken the hopkins-calzaghe fight into consideration and thrown a bit more, at least try and steal some rounds in the last 20-15 seconds...........

Honestly, it wasn't the type of fight where either man was cleaning up. You can make a case for both, and therefore see the judges going either way. I think Ishe didn't open up as much as he could've. It's nice to see you make the other guy miss, but when he's the agressor and you're playing defense, and he has more connects most rounds, it's very easy to see how judges gave the early rounds, which I think were the deciding factor, to Julio.

This fight looked something like Calzaghe Vs Hopkins.

Julio being Calzaghe and winning because of workrate. Enough said. Ishe not doing much and waiting to counter being Hopkins.

So if you say Ishe won this, then you're saying Hopkins won when he fought Calzaghe. Enough said.
