    Am I the only one who thought Ishe Smith won that fight??

    well am I ??

    Ishe boxed great. Stayed calm. Good defense. Landed good power shots..

    Julio just threw more.. but prety much hitting alot of gloves and arms or nothing at all..

    I dont know, but your probably the only one that cares, and thats a good sign for Smith.

          yh i thought ishe won. i dunno whats up lately, judges are scoring for the guys that are just throwing more but hitting air. teddy atlas actually admitted doing it in the fight.

            I wouldn't really call what Ishe was landing "power shots". He was landing the cleaner punches, but he never had Julio even close to hurt. As usual, Smith let his opponent outwork him. That's why he lost to Mora and Powell too.

                i had it a close victory for julio 96-94
                ishe just wasnt active enough teddy atlas cant score fights for **** if u listened to him it would seem like ishe got dominated

                  i think people (judges) often forget that the criteria for scoring is based on effective aggression, not just aggression.

                  i thought it could have gone either way. i didn't score it, but some of the rounds teddy gave to julio i would have given to ishe smith

                    a lot of similarities to the calzaghe/hopkins.
                    smiths punches landed more flush. but like 13 in a round!
                    imo he didnt do enough. again.
                    like ive read, its like ishe wants to leave it in the judges hands so he can complain about decision and how he's robbed.
