I'm going to be honest. I only voted for Haye because I've actually seen him fight. I know that Solis is a gold medalist. I've heard that he's technically sound. Both of those mean something, but I've never seen him fight so it's hard for me to call him the better prospect.

Right now, I'll say Haye. He has more experience as a professional.

Solis needs to lose some weight, his best weight would be around 220-225. Strangely, his extra weight didn't seem to affect his stamina in fights where had to go the distance but losing some weight will help his speed.

Solis has pretty fast hands for a heavyweight even with the fat and is good technically, he has potential, just needs to lose weight.

I agree but Solis isnt in shape and he has got an amateur style which doesnt help in the Pro world, Haye from time has a pro boxer style that isnt suit to the amateur game.

Haye has been in the pro game longer than Solis so i would give him the advantage on the pro level.

I think solis has the better potential at heavyweight. at least he hasnt shown a suspect chin as of yet and he seems technically superior to haye. haye is obviously more exciting though and can generate more $$$

he was punching fine with both hands. I dont buy that,,,nor do I buy his getting hurt by cruiserweights due to his being too light. holyfield and moorer also had to kill themsleves to make the under heavyweight limit but they werent floored by mediocre punchers like haye has been

I think the differing speed in the development of careers means Haye has a much better chance of being a heavy champ. There's no doubt Solis has talent so why the hell is he such a lardass?

                  Today Haye is better.

Solis seems to be more talented, but he just started his pro career and needs to drop 20-25lbs before he becomes a real contender.

at 250lbs he will never reach Haye's level.

that solis dude is getting worse i have seen all but one of his fights and he seems to be getting worse, if he trained hard and lost his weight then he would be a threat but at the moment he is not.
