That will happen in the pros if they ever face each other again.

Via points margin and not knockout. Also Haye was carrying an injury (sustained in semi i think) that restricted use of his right hand, and he still managed to make Solis take an eight count.

Noooo! I'm starting to feel like a Haye nuthugger, must..control...urge....to....hug...nuts

Audley Harrison also won a gold olympics and "KO" most of his opponents...But KO in Amatuer fights means NOTHING because all you have to do is build up a lead..Haye actually KD solis in the same fight but the referee allowed Solis to continue.

Wlad and Vitali were also Ko'ed by many Amatuer fighters in the past does that meant they would be a better prospect than Both brothers?

        World Championships
Solís became world champion in 2001 in Belfast and in 2003 in ****kok at heavyweight(201lbs/91 kg limit), in 2005 in Mianyang at super heavyweight.

In 2001 he beat Russian Olympic silver medalist of 2000 Sultan Ibragimov in the semifinals on points and in the final British David Haye by TKO, Haye wasn't able to punch back due to tiredness and an injury in his right forearm and was getting hit often he did give Odalnier a standing count in the first round after the first round Haye was up by 7 points but Odlanier came back strong. In 2003 he won on points in the final against Russian archrival Alexander Alekseev who would win the next world championship. Also, Solis defeated Sultan Ibragimov once more (13-7) in four rounds in the XXXIII Chemistry Cup in Halle, Germany on March 10, 2002.

i've seen their amateur fight, and haye was doing very well...before he gassed out. solis looked very trim in that fight, but as a heavyweight his physique is unpleasant to look at. he's just fat plain and simple. as far as who is a better prospect id go with solis because it's hard to tell with david, he only had one fight at heavyweight. automatically that does not make him a prospect

              You know what i mean.

You're basing your argument around Solís beating Haye in the world amateur final 7 years ago.

Haye has gotten considerably better since then, especially his stamina which is what cost him in that fight. As someone has mentioned Haye ''Gassed'' out and got punished.

I think Haye has improved yes.

The Thompson fight however will always hang over Haye's head. He had no excuses to lose that fight. Thompson was 40 years old and Haye was a better all round fighter then him at that point but Haye went gun hoe from the off and didn't take into account that Thompson has a fairly decent chin and soaked up Haye's pressure. Haye ran out of gas yet again and the rest is history.

But i will always maintian the fact that lost did more good for Haye then bad. Opened up his eyes and he was a more focused fighter after that defeat as well and hasn't done too bad since has he?

It wasn't a KO it was a ref stoppage. It was because Solis started to outland Haye ore that 10 points or something. Haye won the 1st round I think and gave Solis a standing 8 count which shouldn't have been given cause Solis wasn't dropped just badly hurt.

                      The Gaye obviously.

I think he's the real deal as a fighter. Meaning there aren't many questions to be asked about him from my perspective other than maybe can he go the distance against frustrating opponents.

Now as a HW I think he has all the promise.

But only after Wlad retires possibly because he will never, and mark my words never beat Wladimir Klitschko in a fist fight.
