Thats a little harsh if true, hes only lost to one guy. Although realistically I guess he's hit a wall, hes in a deep division were he cant compete against the top guys.

I would have liked to see him against Williams.

Maybe a move up in weight?
before the tony rematch he did say he wanted to move to 154 after unifying the welterweight titles. well, if that's still his goal, it would take quite some time. he had his try it didnt work he should leave the division. it's worth noting that he did look a little drained and pale at the weigh in. just my obeservation. he should recover and test the waters at junior middleweight

Yup. If he were with Top Rank, Golden Boy or even Goosen-Tudor or GSP I'd understand this move, but Main Events could still make some money with him. I bet either Warriors or DiBella scoop him up.

The guy isn't even 30 yet. He could still get a fine career at light-middle.

Margarito really killed this kid's confidence. It's not like he had the greatest desire to box in my opinion, too emotional too be in the ring, boxing was not really in his blood. Maybe he'll bounce back and fight a couple of bums but he will never be a champ again, Cintron is done.

Surely that's what Main Events think. But as I said: The guy isn't even 30. Plenty of time to regain confidence. I think he could be a nice pick-up for a promotor who will match him correctly.
