This is a great thread/Question, I do think more boxers can benefit from training in a high altitude environment like Kenya, It would help especially when you're back in a less high altitude environment and going 12 rounds wouldnt be a problem for you.

That begs the question Why arent more boxers(Good ones) from Kenya?

because they're all runners. the article i read said the super sports freaks who like to compete from there mostly run because they have such a ridiculous advantage due to their altitude and aside from that having grown up there. so imagine a fighter who went to kenya to train fighting a fighter born there of equal skill. there'd still be a staggering difference.

It would make a world of difference in boxing terms, If i was from Kenya instead of being a Runner like all of them i would rather pick up a gloves and box, I would do something different like that...Then i would go to Europe or America and fight the fighters in there Hometown.

same here mi amigo. i wish i didn't get into boxing so late in life. i would throw hands with just about anyone but i couldn't just settle for being in the amateurs to be honest. i'd wanna fully commit myself to it and make my living that way. coulda shoulda woulda. lol.
