Before the Cintron fight, he lost to Williams, and strugled life and death with a one armed Clotey. If Cotto didn't want to fight him, he could have pointed out that he doesn't deserve the shot and many people would have agreed. Cotto destroyed the man who exposed the man who beat margarito. It will not matter if Oscar looks like a fat pile of ****e in this fight. The bottom line is, if he wins there will be a second fight between him and Mayweather. It's just a tune up fight. He does not need to win spectacularly to actually get the rematch, he just needs to win.

No matter how the outcome of Forbes/Oscar plays out, apart from Oscar losing, a fight between Mayweather and him will definitely happen as it will generate massive viewings and cash and cement Mayweather as supposedly the best by once again beating, supposedly, 'the greatest WW of his era' De La Hoya!

Cotto/May won't happen until a fair bit later I think and that's also very dependent on whether Cotto gets past Margarito which, while he should, will still be a hard fight for him. Either way, the only reason Mayweather/Hoya won't happen is if Oscar loses against Forbes. As long as he wins, even if it is in terrible fashion, the worst rematch of the century will go ahead.
