I said it before and I will say it again.
Kessler is a guy who was trained to be a fighter by a textbook. He follows all the rules, does all the right things. What a book cannot teach is intangibles...
Kessler stood there round after round getting pummeled by Joe and never once tried anything different. He was too worried about straying away from the textbook or to deviate and try to knock Joe off his game. He took his beating like a proper student and then wanted to go back to square 1, fighting for a junior belt in a weight class with weak ass challengers. Real go getter there people!!
Kessler has never beaten a grade B opponent let alone a grade A opponent. Against the grade B- and C guys, his text book teachings serve him well. As soon as he fights a live opponent, who has grit, determination and heart, he will lose again.Last edited by deanrw; 05-01-2008, 10:45 PM.Comment
