Kessler is a good fighter, it's as simple as that. The reason he has no marquee names is because there are none in his division. The biggest names he has fought, and beaten all apart from Calzaghe. Kessler is both very big and very strong for a SMW, so could make the step up to LHW easily. When there I would expect him to stop Dawson and he should get a decision victory over Jones and Hopkins, but I wouldn't be suprised if one or both of those fights goes the other way. If Pavlik moved to SMW when Kessler was still there, Pavlik goes down and doesn't get back up.
