I never said he was scared, but he has to have the worst management team in boxing right now. They are the ones pulling his strings and limiting his career. Kessler is a smart guy, but with the guys he fought, he never learned how to fight in adversity. That is why Joe had a fairly easy time with him. Kessler never had to dig deep before and then the time came, he did not know how.

Mikkel clearly said he wants to fight names like Hopkins, Pavlik, Winky.. Anybody.
But what most Americans forget, we (Denmark) never had a fighter as big as him. So they're protecting him, and Kessler is ****** enough to constantly listen to Palle. It was Palle who cancelled the contract for the Miranda fight and Kessler said "I personally haven't seen the contract, but I trust Palle" which is a ****** thing to do. **** Mogens Palle that ****ing old mental case.. Kessler should sign with GBP and get Manny Steward.

Now you see where I am coming from. I am not a hater of any fighter. I just have high expectations of the naturally talented ones. Yeah his management team are just awful and he really needs to get rid of them and find a new trainer also. Like I said he has the skillset, but he is in big danger if they put him in with another live fighter because he still is not ready. He just needs to further his craft and get in some real sparring against pissed off guys who want to take his head off. Then he will learn his way, get hardened and mean. Then you just might have a truly kickass champion in your hands.

Every undefeated fighter has had their way with everyone. They can all still lose. Joe is a very good fighter, but beatable. Pavlik is a very good fighter, but beatable..etc.. kessler could have beaten Joe if he was more bloodthirsty. When you have enough will, you can overcome a lot. Kessler let Joe have his way because he did not know how to deal with adversity.

He's a fighter who either has to hit you with a loaded up shot (that a good fighter should see coming) or has to intimidate you so you run all night (which a good fighter should not do).

I guess what I'm saying is that the power puncher like Miranda is going to have a hard time with elites, because he is going to have to take his opponent out of his game plan.

That is a very dangerous way for anyone to fight Miranda. Even though he does not look like it due to being stocky, he is tall with a very long reach. He loves to wing his right hand over a jab.

Watch his fight with Green. You will see what I am talking about.

I just watched the Green fight. It was ****ing dreadful. I like Allan Green, and I know he had more of his colon taken out than most gay dude's do in their entire lives, but... he should have done more to win the fight IMO.

Green's jab looked lazy as **** that night by the way. Kessler's jab is a lot better than Green's.

Speed is not everything. Taylor is basically twice as fast or more than Pavlik, but Pavlik prevailed. With all Joe's speed, he still makes a **** load of mistakes in the ring ready to be capitalized on. Pavlik for all his will and determination, can still be beaten with his considerable defensive holes. etc...
