I know one thing for sure regarding what fighters get paid, Hattons cut from British PPV after the Floyd fight was £35m which equates to $70m. That is crazy money!

well **** me im searching for lots of palces and the general consesus is oscar made 44 even though he won 25 guaranteed and at least 28 to 32 on ppv revenue.... and reports flunctuate from 2 to 4 mil on other deals

i think it would be more realistic to say oscar won in the 55-58 range...

mayweather got 20-21(15 guaranteed 5-6 ppv revenue) from the oscar fight and only got 11 guaranteed against hatton and 7-9 mill of ppv revenue so that means he won around 40...

yes u got that right. in an mma fight how many times do u see them get punched in the head? in an mma fight if a person gets hit in the head 5 times it already results to a knockout. while in boxing if u check the compubox boxers get hid hundreds of times to the head. imaginge getting hit in the head that much.

We don't see the long-term effects of MMA yet because the fighters are still relatively young. I read a terrific article about how MMA guys will be like the football guys when they get older. Earl Campbell can barely walk. Even Dan Gable had both hips replaced.

TRUE. The punches in the head in boxing are one component that is probably worse in boxing. But how about the impacts to all of the OTHER joints? How about the repeated slams? The frequency of torn ligaments, strained tendons, other orthopedic injuries, etc?

but UFC PPVs have a whole bunch of fights on, and most guys fighting are top guys.

It costs money to run the UFC... its not Dana White's fault really. They do pay the fighters a salary which is good.
