It becomes overkill after a while. There are other good fighters they can face, especially at Featherweight if Vasquez ever moved up.

i dont want this fight to happen, vasquez has proved he is just a bit better then marquez, they beaten the **** outta eachother enough already and they need to fight other guys, 4 or 5 fights and these guys are gonna have to retire the way they fight cause they wont last, there gonna erik morales themselves outta the sport

Why not do it for the fourth time. these guys have given so much already in there careers that they deserve the big payday that they will get if they take this fight. This is the only way that these two can get the money they should for there next fight. Even if isral vasquez where to take on the other elite fighters in the division he wouldn't get paid. Why fight a Daniel Ponce Deloen for less money then you would get for a fourth marquez fight. Deleon is more of a threat to take the title probley and would be a small payday. It's the way it is. This fight if it happens has history pending on it. If raul wins then there is more then likely a fifth fight if isral wins then he is a true superstar. I would love to see it so make it happen. Anybody that knocks a fourth fight is retarted beyond belief. so make the fight it makes dollers and sense.

wow. as a fan i almost feel selfish for hoping it happens. both warriors gave us more than we could ever ask for in any one of those first 3 fights. without question in my top 5 trilogies of all time.

If this happens it pretty well ends both careers.

Rafael's definitely - he's the smaller guy, & can't afford the kind of punishment after the last couple without a solid break, & a couple of steady wins.

Probably Vasquez as well
- might be able to manage another couple of fights physically, but he was hit with more clean shots than Marquez, & doubt his face will stand up to many more...
- looked like he'd been over by a truck after the last one, & Marquez was just about as bad.


Hopefully reason will prevail, & Vasquez will move up for a couple of good fights & a title, & Marquez will pick up the pieces in the division for a while.

There is no point for this fight ither than money. If it isn't about money which it probably is, there was a clear winner after three, one clearly got the best, live with it and move on.
