Calzaghe was hurt at least 3 times in that fight.

Sweet, it's the funniest gif I've ever seen. I find myself watching it over and over when I'm pissed.

Hardly beast style. He knocked over an off balance Calzaghe with a good punch and a bit of pushing. Calzaghe got up instantly.

Maybe Calzaghe felt some punches, but he was nowhere near hurt enough for a KO.

          THEY dont compare style wise...

I'm gonna have to disagree with you man. That was just a flash knockdown, although it was a good punch.

            After headbutting him!

... And then clinched for the 160th time!

Dunno...I'd say they were a pair of pretty straight forward come ahead fighters. Not an exact match, but they pose similar threats.

Why didn't Hopkins chase him after he knocked him down? I don't know, maybe it had something to do with the fact that he's 43 years old! A prime Bernard would've jumped on him right then and there, but his defensive style is suited to his age now. He's not the seek and destroy fighter he used to be, hasn't been since the last Robert Allan fight.

And I like the way you failed to comment about the other 2 times Bernard sent Joe reeling, it helps prove my point.

I would say Kessler hit Calzaghe more successfully with harder punches than Hopkins. Credit to Hopkins though - the shot that floored Calzaghe in R1 was a great shot, but Calzaghe has a good chin, he didn't even look dazed.

It was a punch that stunned Joe at the end of the Seventh and everybody who watched saw it. Joe was doing some dumb showboating ****, gliding around like a rollerblader, and hopkins drilled him mid-routine. Then Joe went stumbling back and started doing the showboating again.

And what does clinching have to do with anything? You're British, don't you like Ricky Hatton? That mother****er clinches like a Leprechaun version of John Ruiz.
