Cotto is the P.P.V draw in this fight, Not Margarito ......

And Cotto's P.P.V by himself draw is around 200k buys

and Margarito only P.P.V Exposure did around 40k buys on ESPN...

So Unless Mexicans Help Buy this fight like they did in the
    JMM VS. PACQUIAO fight....

The buys when not exceed 300k, and it is going no way near 500k

Margarito has a lot of good and well deserved hype behind him. I think 350-400 thousand ppv is possable. Cotto we already know he has some good numbers and tons of fans wanting to see him fight too. Didn't the Cotto v. Mosley do 400 or more? And Pacquiao v. Marquez i belive did more then 500 hunred thousand.

HBO's Pacquiao-Marquez Bout Lands Solid PPV Numbers

Junior Lightweight Brawl Rakes In $20.2 Million In Sales

By R. Thomas Umstead -- Multichannel News, 3/27/2008 11:37:00 AM

Junior lightweights Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez punched up some heavyweight buy-rates for Home Box Office in their March 15 pay-per-view fight.

The fight, the second between the two champions, generated 400,000 PPV buys and $20.2 million in revenue—the first fight in the 140-pound and lower-weight classes to reach the lofty numbers usually associated with welterweight, middleweight and heavyweight title fights, according to HBO officials.

Pacquiao’s win over Marquez generates record PPV numbers for lower weights
By GREG BEACHAM, AP Sports Writer
                    Mar 27, 3:54 pm EDT

Buzz Up PrintManny Pacquiao’s split-decision victory over Juan Manuel Marquez was a big hit in the ring and at home.

The March 15 fight between the world’s top two 130-pound boxers generated $20.2 million in pay-per-view sales, setting a record for the sport’s lower weight classes, HBO vice president Mark Taffet said Thursday.

About 400,000 homes bought the fight, another record for boxing’s traditionally less-glamorous divisions below welterweight (147 pounds). Pacquiao won the WBC super featherweight belt by one point on one judge’s scorecard in a widely acclaimed rematch of the fighters’ 2004 draw.

HBO expected the fight to draw strong interest from Filipino and Latino households because of the fighters’ nationalities, but the bout turned out to be popular in all markets. Taffet said the surprising numbers affirmed boxing’s enduring popularity.

330k tops I'd assume. Probably around 312,000 or so would be my guess.
