A 24/7 wouldn't work for this fight, at least not on the angle HBO likes to take. They take a very casual approach to their "24/7" series and their "Countdown" series, showcasing the fighter's private lives and thoughts intercut with clips of training and sparring.

On that level, it wouldn't work because casual fans wouldn't connect with Margarito, who speaks only Spanish, and Cotto, who's English is broken at best. Plus both men are total gentlemen and wouldn't say a bad word about the other.

The styles in Corrales-Castillo were more made for each other and great fights.

Despite all the talk about Corrales's height and reach, he was at his best at close-range, just like Castillo.

With Cotto and Margarito, Cotto has better boxing skills on the backfoot and using lateral movement than Corrales. I see Cotto taking a more cautious approach than Corrales did.

I still expect a good fight though.

Truth. Cotto will embody what a boxer-puncher is against Margarito. He will opt to fight on the backfoot when he can because he's very comfortable with that style now, but Margarito is the X factor in terms of making the excitement happen. You know he's going to stalk Cotto like a Lion all night long, and average over a hundred punches thrown per round.

There will be times when Cotto has no choice but to brawl, and that's the thought that makes my **** hard. (no ****)

i really hope cotto tries to put a hurt on Margo because without a doubt, Margo is going to go in there lookin to hospitalize Cotto. I still cant believe this fight is in the works. its a dream fight come true.

A 24/7 would be awesome for this fight. And i aggree with you on the ppv numbers.

                    Ferocity,

Do you believe that it will do more than Cotto-Mosley and more than the Pacquiao fights?
