Wlad has to fight two mandatories and probably a unification match with Peter if Vitali can't get healthy. Then a fight with Haye is possible should he beat a couple of legit contenders. If Vitali fights Peter a fight with Haye can happen in about a year since Wladimir will have options once he beats his mandatories.

Boxing needs a unified champion more than a side-show right now. If Wlad decided to fight Haye he loses both belts and the division is no closer to unification.

So lets see Haye has been knocked out by a guy to small to fight as heavyweight and has 20 fights some of them really tough grueling fights with guys to small to fight as a heavyweight. And based on that he believes this qualifies him to get a free pass and an immediate fight with the biggest and hardest puncher he's ever been in with and by-passing all of the fighters who have been fighting and winning in the heavyweight division. He claims he like Evander Holifield which in itself is a joke he may have been good enough to beat a few of Evander's sparring partners but he's no Evander Holifield that's for sure. This guy is just another mouthpiece who is trying to talk up a big payday for himself. I don't even think he could beat a fighter like John Ruiz and completely understand why he doesn't want a heavyweight tune-up fight, he'd get gassed and knocked out!
