    Was a terrible technician?

Please define technician. Then explain what that is.

Funny, I didn't read where you called Calzaghe's arm shots his being a terrible technician.
Really tremendous posts in this thread K-Dogg, not just the one I'm replying to. I agree with nearly everything you say and some really good points about Ali that I had no idea about. Good work.

The people that say Roy Jones didn't have a chance at KOing Calzaghe just because Calzaghe has never been KOed, or because he walked through hits from Kessler, need to watch Roy Jones a bit more. Jones at 168 is probably one of the hardest hitting, if not the hardest hitting, super-mid ever. We're talking about a guy that broke another boxer's ribs in one punch. We're talking about a guy that could knock people out at will. How many peoples' only KO loss is to Jones? How many times has Jones iterated that he doesn't like to knock people out; he doesn't like to take the chance of seriously injuring someone. We're talking about a guy that took his power from Middleweight all the way up to Heavyweight and KEPT it. John Ruiz was shaken in one of the rounds of his fights against RJJ, I don't remember which round, but Jones wasn't going for a KO in that fight anyway, he just wanted to show he could go the full 12 with a Heavyweight. John Ruiz has only been KOed once (by David Tua, who is a monster of a puncher) and I think Jones could have KOed him too, if he wanted.

Anyway, Calzaghe wouldn't stand a chance in this fight. He admitted himself that he didn't believe he could beat RJJ. He's going to be beaten by RJJ later on this year anyway so it's not like this will even be a discussion at that point.

I wonder who could the 13% who voted for Calzaghe be? You should have made this a public poll.
