    He had brain damage and internal injury. He definitely wasn't the same. He still continued to fight even though doctors recommended him not to.

        He beat about 5 years of career out of him that night, that's for sure. Taylor went on to have a good win over Aaron Davis (a strong welterweight champion) though.

        That fight was the beginning of the end of his career. It was mentally and physically debilitating.

          If he really had brain damage, how did he get a license to fight in Nevada less than five months later? What you said is pure fiction.
