Calzaghe is my favourite fighter but I know what he's about. I primarily became a fan after he wasted Mario Veit when I was at the time a casual fan I thought damn he's a puncher, so I looked out for him. Then two years later he had an epic two rounder with Mitchell. In between times he had a war with Charles Brewer. Mitchell and Brewer will be dismissed as bums by churlish posters on this board

I liked Joe because he showed vulnerabilty even against Brewer and Mitchell with his willingness to get ****** into a brawl.

Joe is a great fighter imo but a good notch below guys like James Toney and RJJ if not a notch and a half. But I could never back those guys anyway especially prime Roy it would be like supporting Man Utd in the 90's, or Michael Schumacker in the F1 or Tiger Woods in golf.

I scored it 115-113. But after watching it on the BBC again and concievably yes I think it could have been scored wider even when initially i thought that judge was way off. Not so much.
